Navig8 takes delivery of sixth MR newbuild vessel from New Times Shipbuilding Co.

Navig8 is proud to announce the successful delivery of the Navig8 Executive, which completed on 22nd November. This marks the final vessel in a series of six state-of-the-art MR newbuilds delivered by New Times Shipbuilding Company to Navig8 in 2024.

Each of these advanced 50,000 DWT product oil/chemical tankers is equipped with Clean Marine’s innovative air lubrication systems and exhaust gas scrubbers, demonstrating our commitment to enhancing environmental performance. Additionally, Navig8 leverages the Shipwatch voyage execution platform to optimise operational efficiency and reduce emissions. The platform integrates directly with a CII monitoring system, enabling comprehensive emissions data collection and streamlined reporting.

The Navig8 Executive will join the Navig8 Gamma8 Pool and will be technically managed by TB Maritime, further strengthening the fleet and operational capabilities.

We are pleased to announce the delivery of the Navig8 Excellence this week, the third of six newbuild MR vessels from New Times Shipbuilding Co. due for delivery this year.

All six of the state-of-the-art MRs are installed with air lubrication systems and scrubbers from maritime technology provider, Clean Marine.

Navig8 also employs the Shipwatch voyage execution platform to oversee performance and reduce emissions through enhanced operational efficiency. A CII monitoring system is directly connected to the Shipwatch platform to allow vital collection of emissions data and reporting.

The Navig8 Excellence joins the Navig8 Gamma8 Pool and will be technically managed by TB Maritime.

 

ADNOC Logistics & Services to Acquire Navig8

ADNOC Logistics and Services Plc (ADNOC L&S), a global energy maritime logistics company, today announced an agreement to acquire Navig8 TopCo Holdings Inc. (Navig8).

Following the successful completion of the acquisition, which is subject to customary regulatory approvals, the current Navig8 management team will continue to operate the business on a day-to-day basis. Current operations with be maintained under the existing Navig8 brand to ensure continued strength in business performance, while leveraging the complementary benefits of the ADNOC L&S partnership.
